Oh yes! Finally got the time to open my tumblr account after ages. This post (as stated above) was a long overdue post. Though I have free time, on some days that I do, I’m being my own proscrastinator self and therefore results to lack of blog update. Oh well I’m a self-confessed fashionista (could be a wannabe but don’t care) so here’s an outfit post to be on trend. Skirts x mustards were my thing last month (FYI, my birthday month, October yay!)
Side note: So as of the moment I’m listening to Calvin Harris feat. Ellie Goulding - I Need Your Love. Blood pumping indeed and truly eargasmic! Check it out! It really makes me wanna dance on my feet as I type these words. Gah!
n. the inexplicable urge to push people away, even close friends who you really like—as if all your social tastebuds suddenly went numb, leaving you unable to distinguish cheap politeness from the taste of genuine affection, unable to recognize its rich and ambiguous flavors, its long and delicate maturation, or the simple fact that each tasting is double-blind.
Last July 6, 2012 we went to San Diego, CA (spontaneity and out of the blue it was!). We decided to visit the safari zoo for a change.
San Diego Safari Park is a two hour drive from where I live. It’s quite a long ride even using freeway.
(These are the ticket prices, taken using my phone)
We just avail the cheapest among all the tickets because it’s quite pricey and we’re not in the right attire to do “the” safari adventure. LOL
So upon entering you’ll see this humongous map. :) This was also taken using my phone.
Before we proceed to our destination, where the African Tram is, we first filled our stomach with fooood!
As we walked towards the African Tram, we also took snapshots to interesting spots we find like this bat ears we saw.
Pardon my round face, I know, I know I’m gaining weight but coz’ I can’t help but eat a lot lately. But who cares? HAHAHA!
Enough of bombarding this post with my face. So here’s something that I found interesting while I walk around…
Flock of Flamingos.
African Savannah. Joke!
The safari adventure was indeed an adventure because of the scorching heat vibe. The weather makes me a lil’ dizzy and sleepy at that time.
Then we headed to a Filipino restaurant that serves Filipino street food. The thought of it makes me crave once more.
Kwek-kwek. I prefer Tukneneng more, the larger version of kwek-kwek. HAHAHA!
Pork isaw. I prefer chicken isaw though, it’s the best! If you haven’t tried it, I tell you you’re missing half of your life and Filipino heritage.
(Taken using my phone)
Kalye Hits is the only Filipino resto that I’ve seen so far that serves Filipino street foods. Though it’s miles away from where I live ‘coz it’s located in National City, San Diego, CA. Apparently I haven’t seen elsewhere, not even here/near our place that caters isaw, kwek-kwek, fishball and the like.
Filipino street foods are still the best plus it’s cheaper and very affordable! It’s more fun in the Philippines! *Sighs* I’m missing Pinas so much!
Sorry for the clutter guys. It’s actually what’s inside my makeup bag. I haven’t organized it (for the fact that I usually dump everything on it when I’m in a hurry.) These are what I think that are essential for me to complete my makeup routine everyday or whenever I hang out/go out. (Actually not all of what I use is in this bag, ‘coz most of the time it’s inside a drawer filled with my dumping syndromeness or my cluttered things. HAHAHA!)
This bag contains my lipsticks, EOS lip balm (btw, I love it because of its flavor), lip gloss, concealer, eyeliner, blush, foundation, eyelash curler, bronzer, makeup remover wipes etc. As you can I see I’m more of a lippie person, I like to put a lot on my lips. If only I can put lip primer I would but I haven’t bought it yet.
This snack caught my tongue on wildfire! Oh my! This Cheetos Crunchy on Flamin’ Hot flavor was so spicy that after just two bites of it, I almost give up. Actually I am not the one who bought it cause I’m not really into spicy food, my sister did. She told us that she bought this so none of us (my lil’ brother and I) will sneak her snacks. Well eventually we still ate it. We even had a spin the bottle way slash dare game, and that whoever the bottle will point at, one should eat a piece of this and no one should dare drink liquids or water. Silliness. :O
I am bored to death when I spontaneously watched youtube via my phone. Of course whenever you browse, related videos pops-out and all you have to do is click and click. Then I stumbled upon these awesome vloggers that I really enjoyed the most. I’m gonna list down my favorite ones! Check them out!
Last May 8, 2012 my bitches and I went to the beach coz’ it’s summer time!
We had lunch as always at a Korean BBQ restaurant then headed to the ultimate Filipino store here in California, Seafood City to buy the things we needed for making our bonfire and some foods to eat.
Here’s our shopping list:
For our food/needs:
Hershey’s milk chocolate
disposable cups/paper towels/stainless sticks
For our bonfire:
Yeah that’s me enjoying the sand, the beach and the sunset.
We also had a freelance photoshoot with my freinds as well I’m not that pro in photography but practice makes perfect isn’t it? Click here for the preview. (I don’t have permission from them to post their sexy bods here so maybe a preview would suffice)
This was my first time to have a bonfire on the beach and I want to do it again! I super like doing s’mores and burnt hotdogs! HAHAHA!
Here’s our self-timer moments before we ended the night.
