Status

A belated mother’s day post: Mother’s day, should definitely be celebrated to give utter importance to our beloved mothers. I think we should not only give love and affection and how much thankful we are to our moms on this day but it must be every single day. Though I’m not so much close with my mom unlike others who can share their deepest, darkest secrets with their mums and there were times that we don’t get along much, I’m still thankful for my ever loving mama.

Actually I don’t like to put family photos or family-related posts here on this blog but maybe this will be an exception. :)

TGIFriday’s appetizers.

This is the only photo that I had with what we ate because we’re hungry that I forgot to take pictures and we dig in with the food right away. (Maybe some people might question why I take pictures of the food etc. etc it’s not to brag or anything but my main reason of doing so is that I make this blog an online diary and when I back read after a while, I appreciate it more.)

We ate two orders of the 2 course meal for 20 bucks para slighly tipid pero worth it. The appetizers were shrimp cocktail and nacho chips. The main course were bruschetta pasta + chicken fingers and Jack Daniel’s chicken + pork chop something. The desserts were what I enjoyed the most, salt caramel cake + red velvet cake!

The thing I noticed on Friday’s (Cerritos towne center) where we ate at was that the diners are sorted by race, I dunno or maybe it’s just by accident. (Wala lang napansin lang. I don’t like to make issue, it’s only a mere observation) Because we were seated together with other Filipinos (na naunahan pa namin kumain sa dami nila) anyway I shouldn’t care about it as long as they served us perfectly fine right?

Unfortunately my dad’s wasn’t with us to celebrate because he’s at work. This was actually a simple treat for my mom and haven’t given her a gift yet coz’ I’m broke. I already know what she wanted but this simple lunch-out date was my treat for her but probably I’m gonna give her gift soon (Oh yeah, I’m known to be a late-gift-giver). Though I hoped my mom enjoyed and had a great time because this was her day!

Oreo Double Stuf Heads or Tails.

What I’m eating at the moment. I wanna try out Oreo’s different kinds & flavors. I had the Oreo spring and itey na love ko. Oreo fudge creme is what the fudge talaga kasi it’s too sweet. Hello diabetes? HAHAHA!
